Tips for your GAP visit to London
If you are looking for a restaurant for lunch or an evening meal, or somewhere to go while the Gold Award achiever and their guest are in the palace, here are the areas you can head to nearby.

If you are arriving by train, check out the easy tube map above to help find your way to the Palace and areas with a range of hotels with easy access to Green Park tube station.
There is NO parking, including no disabled parking, at the Palace. You will need to park on one of several public car parks in the area. Blue badge holders may be able to park locally, for more information visit bluebadgelondon.org.uk

Disabled guests can be dropped off and collected in the street (Marlborough Road) outside St James’s Palace.

St James’s palace is in The Mall/Pall Mall area of London. The entrance in on Marlborough Road. Please allow sufficient time to cope with central London rush-hour traffic, leave about 15 minutes to get from the tube to St James’s Palace.
The easiest way to get to the Palace is by public transport. If you are travelling by tube, the nearest underground stations are Green Park (Jubilee/Victoria/Piccadilly lines), St James’s Park (Circle/District line) and Charing Cross (Trafalgar Square – Northern and Bakerloo lines).
